Bach Flower
Therapy
Dr E. Bach founded
a system of 38 flower
essences aimed at particular
current characteristics
or emotional states
addressing current
emotional and/or behavioural
difficulties .
This therapy is primarily used in situations where a child needs immediate emotional or behavioural rebalance. This is done providing them with a personalised remedial
blend which may include
up to 7 of the 38 essences. These blends are taken
orally by placing drops
on the tongue.
The Bach Flower Therapy
works to evict negative
emotions, fears and
unwanted states of
mind from our systems
and restores inner
harmony. It's a therapy
that is so safe that
it can be used by expectant
mothers & new born
babies.
Tending to
Core Issues
Just as we can recall
old memories which
bring back joys & pains,
so too can our body's
memories be triggered
which bring recurring
symptoms. After 30 years
of research, Professor Mossop
of phytobiophysics, produced plant formulas to reach a more
comprehensive array
of core needs.
These specialised
remedies address deeper rooted imbalances within the child which are taken orally by placing
drops on the tongue
for a length of time
determined for each
child.
Psychotherapeutic
Tools
With the use of psychotherapeutic
tools such as
therapeutic art, therapeutic
writing, therapeutic
play/drama,
we are able to gain
a better insight into
the child's emotional
state to further tend
to their core issues
and work towards breaking
any negative patterns
which may exist. Some
of these methods are
often the only way
for some children,
especially the very
young, to non-verbally
express to us what
they are feeling.
The methods we use
provide children with
a safe, confidential & caring
environment to play
with as few ‘limits'
as possible, but with
as many as necessary
for the child to remain
emotionally & physically
safe while they ‘tell
their story' through
creative expression.
These methods allow
the child to safely
stay one step away
from their traumas
while accessing, expressing
and addressing their
traumas.
Supporting
methods
Various techniques
are used to support
the child throughout their
journey. These vary depending on the
sensitivities and requirements
of each child and may include aromatherapy,
massage, affirmations
(I am wonderful!),
reiki, yoga and also playing
simply for fun and
laughter!
